"Courtnye's multidisciplinary background gives her a breadth and depth of knowledge that makes her a major asset to our clients. In a short time she has already made significant contributions to projects at every phase, from planning through construction."Brent Zeigler, Principal | President and Director of Design
Originally from an old coal mining town in Pennsylvania, Courtnye came to Boston by way of Drexel University in Philadelphia, where she studied computer information systems. She worked for several years as a systems analyst and project manager for software development, acquiring vital management and client relations experience before making a life-changing career switch to architecture and interior design.
She soon found herself lead-designing high-end hospitality projects including restaurants and guestrooms for major-brand hotel properties. While managing projects — from conceptualization to implementation, including drafting budgets and designing custom furnishings — Courtnye also went back to school for interior design at Boston Architectural College.
A mother of two teens on top of the rest, Courtnye doesn’t get much downtime. But when she does, she enjoys music, cooking, and taking walks with her kids and the family dog, Roxy, a rescue from Puerto Rico.Next: Daniel Johnson ← Back to Team
