This year, we are proud to enter our 50th year in business, and today marks “Day 1” in our brand new office. As our entire Dyer Brown project team reflects on the process (from identifying the right space all the way through to turning the lights on this morning), we wanted to share a few quick thoughts on how this investment and transformation has set us up to serve our clients better in the future. How will the space actually improve the work that we do and the interactions that we have with our clients?
Workflow and Efficiency
As many of you know, we have been on two floors at One Winthrop Square for the past 4 years. While we made the most of it, there were definitely challenges. Our new office finally has us all back together again on the first floor, which we know will lead to improved workflow, communication, and efficiency.
Street level access off of Devonshire Street allows us to welcome our visitors directly into our space without the hassle of “going through security." Our “front-and-center” café will provide a comfortable spot to sit while waiting for a meeting or a place to chat with one of our team members for a quick check-in.
Health and Wellness
We believe that health and wellness are integral to performing at the top of our game. In support of this belief, we have provided dedicated space for lockers, a wellness room, mother’s room, and shower room.
As we have grown and diversified over the past 10+ years, we long-ago outgrew our four (yes...four) conference rooms. With over ten reservable private meeting spaces, we will always have a space available to accommodate meetings with clients and partners.
We know that being able to communicate clearly and effectively with our clients is incredibly important. Whether in Boston or on the other side of the globe, this more often than not involves technology. We have made a huge investment in technology in all of our meeting spaces. We know this will improve our ability to communicate and collaborate with all of our clients and partners.
I hope this helps give you a better sense of how the investments that we have made in our new space will translate to an enhanced level of design and service for all of our clients and facilitate improved collaboration and coordination with our partners. Stay tuned as our Southeast team expands their space to accommodate growth this month, too.
