A tight budget and a tight space were a perfect challenge for our Dyer Brown design team tasked with creating sleek modern lobby for this Back Bay office tower. The low-cost, high-impact solution upcycles many original elements to conserve resources for a few rich materials and distinctive finish details.
Existing dark wood paneling and coffered ceiling were painted a warm pewter to highlight their detailing and draw light deep into the space. Accents of intense red energize the neutral palette, and dramatic light fixtures embellish the small space.
