This rapidly growing technology company engaged Dyer Brown to design an expansion at their headquarters to house their Battery Center for Excellence. They also retained Dyer Brown to complete 3 additional projects, ranging in size from 12,000-55,000 and including lab, manufacturing, and workplace components. Working with the CEO and other executives through a series of Visioning sessions, our team created a design standard at the headquarters that speaks to the company’s innovative technology and provides spaces for their teams to work and collaborate. The BCE features workspaces & meeting rooms in addition to a large mezzanine, client demonstration area, high bay storage, showers, labs, dry rooms, operating platforms and support spaces, a new exterior entry, and a large gathering cafe.
Progressed through the design phase but not completed due to changing client objectives, the new pilot plant facility was planned to provide space for the team to scale up their R&D process and test multiple new technologies before moving into full-scale production. The project included multiple labs and materials formulation spaces, supported by office space and other support functions. On-site infrastructure was planned to include multiple exterior tanks and gas systems to support the production space.
